They are a nice sideline for starting fires, but not worth putting skill points into.

The French secondaries look good on paper, but don't do much damage. This means they can damage the bow and stern of T8-10 BBs and pretty much every cruiser. German BBs are best IMO, because their 128mm secondary guns get the 1/4 penetration rule, so they pen 32mm of armour without needing the IFHE skill. Are they really the best or are the French/Japanese better. So I am really wondering what is the best ship for a secondary build the German's do not seem to be the best by any metric they have the least in total, the least effective, and not the longest range. It's effective number of secondaries is 18 though they do have a shorter range at only 7km. On top of all this the Yamato has a whopping 30 secondaries beating out both of them. The French have only slightly less at 25 vs the German's 28 total but have greater range 8km vs the German's 7.7km and but effective amount of secondary's that'll be in use when firing (With manual secondary's because with it they will only fire at the designated ship and if the guns can not turn to fire at it they will not fire at all not even if another ship is within their range which I find ridiculous) for the French is 17 due to the triple mounted guns being able to fire on either side whilst the German's is 14 due to their turrets being bound only to a single broadside unable to fire anywhere else. However when comparing them to the other tier 10 BB's I can't see how. Obviously the Russian and British BB's are out of the question and Montana doesn't look the greatest. I have heard that the Germans supposedly have the best secondary's in the game but why. As of late I decided I want to try and go for a secondary focused build on a ship line so I figured the best ships for it would be a BB so I started comparing the lines (Mostly the tier 10 since that what I am working towards) and I am kinda confused.
